Song Brocade Songjin(宋锦) as its name implies, is a kind of silk brocade developed during the Song Dynasty(960-1279). Song Brocade is characterized by its bright color, exquisite patterns, and solid but soft texture, and has been acknowledged as one of the three major brocade weaving techniques of ancient China, along with The Chinese Imperial Brocade Yunjin(云锦), Sichuan Brocade Shujin(蜀锦).
